CAMAM featured at key events during momentous U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit
The CAMAM team was among a distinguished group of organizations which participated in a number of high profile events during the first ever U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit spearheaded by President Barack Obama.
CAMAM President and CEO Francis Ikome featured as panelist at the Africa – U.S. Private Sector Forum, alongside distinguished guests such as Rev. Jesse Jackson, Former U.S. presidential candidate Herman Cain, President of Namibia H.E. Hifikepunye Pohamba, and other high profile guests from the U.S. and African private sectors.
CAMAM Chief Development Officer and Ovamba COO Viola Llewellyn, was also a panelist at the African Diaspora Investment Symposium, showcasing one of Africa’s most innovative financial platforms, OVAMBA.
The CAMAM team attended a series of additional invitation-only events, and facilitated more dynamic dialogue to showcase private sector opportunities in Cameroon and strengthen the role of African Diasporas in economic development initiatives.
